Working with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds within a GP surgery, Carers Support Centre and the Mind Works project working in conjunction with the YMCA I have gained valuable experience.
Since establishing my private practice over six years ago I have become a specialist support mentor working to empower and support students on their academic journey at universities across the country. I also work in conjunction with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for various local employers.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and to ensure my work is ethically conducted, I work inline with the values and principles of their ethical framework for good practice which can be found here
To ensure ethical practice I attend supervision sessions with a supervisor who is highly qualified and accredited by the BACP as both a counsellor and supervisor.
